How to Convert a DV File to a WMV File
A DV file is an AVI format video clip, usually captured from a DV cable and onto a computer. These files are extremely large and can take up sizable portions of a hard drive. Windows Media Video (WMV) is a smaller file format used for emails, websites, and editing in Windows Movie Maker.
