How to Decorate With Foam Stamps
Foam stamps are stamps made from designs cut out of thin sheets of foam, which are then adhered to a foam block. The intricacies of rubber and clear stamps are easily blocked up by acrylic ink, a thicker medium than stamp pad ink. Foam stamps are wonderful tools for adding stamped images to fabric, walls and many other surfaces where acrylic paint adheres better than stamp pad ink. This makes them an ideal tool for decorating. Hold your foam stamp in your hand so that the image side of the stamp is facing up.

4
Apply a thin layer of acrylic paint onto the raised portion of the foam stamp using a foam paint brush. Don't dip the stamp into the acrylic paint on the paper plate, you will get too much paint on the stamp and end up with a sloppy image on your wall.

Press the foam stamp onto the wall where you want the stamped image to be. Press firmly on the stamp, keeping the pressure even so that the image comes out clear. Pull the stamp away from the wall.
