Car seat covers are a way to protect your car's interior as well as decorate and personalize it. You can take your customization a step further by customizing the covers before placing them over your seats. This process can also be used with infant car seats. Find an image on your computer, type out a phrase, or type your initials into your word processing program.

Place a sheet of your printable iron-on transfer paper into your printer. Transfer paper can be found online at the All Craft Supplies website or at any paper supply or craft store.

Click "print" to print the image or wording you want onto the transfer paper.

Use your iron on a medium heat setting to smooth the surface of the car seat cover.

Place the transfer onto the seat cover, and smooth on it with your iron. The glossy side of the transfer should be facing the fabric.

Peel the backing off of the transferred image and put the seat cover on the seat.
