How to Get an xBox 360 Wireless Headset to Work

The Xbox 360 includes a wired headset that comes with the console. An optional wireless headset is also available. The wireless headset connects in a similar way to all of the other wireless peripherals on the Xbox 360. The wireless headset does not require batteries as it comes with a rechargeable battery. Once connected, the wireless headset will act and function in the same manner as the wired headset.

Instructions

1. Press the "Power" button on the front of the Xbox to turn the Xbox 360 on.

2. Press the "Power" button on the wireless headset to turn the headset on.

3. Press the "Connect" button on the front of the Xbox. This will make the light on the ring of light circle go around.

4. Press and hold the "Connect" button on the wireless headset for two seconds. When the wireless headset is synced with the Xbox, the ring of light will stop circling and the light on the headset will become solid.
