How to fertilize your lawn with Maxwell House Coffee

This is what me and my family do with our coffee grounds each and every day. We fertilize our lawn with used Maxwell House Coffee Grounds. Why throw the grounds away when you can apply them to your lawn? Coffee grounds are full of nutrients that boost the performance of grass. Try this out sometimes on just about everything, including your plants.

1. Every morning enjoy your coffee and thereafter instead of thowing out the grounds look around your home and see if any of your plants need a dose of nutrients that will boost their performance. Each day I do this and our plants maintain their health for a very long time.

2. Fertilize your entire lawn with Maxwell House Coffee by simply sprinkling used coffee grounds (or fresh grounds, if you want to extravagant) over your yard. As stated, coffee grounds are really full of nutrients that will boost the performance of grass. Coffee may keep your lawn up all night, but you can always use decaf.

3. To spread grass seed or fertilizer, I punch holes in the bottoms of empty Maxwell House Coffee Cans with a hammer and a punch. I then fill with grass see or fertilizer, and then cover with a plastic lid. I shake the can as I walk around my lawn and spring garden.

Tips & Warnings

• Morton Salt: Stop buying those expensive grass killers and use Morton Salt to kill grass in cracks and crevices. I sprinkle Morton Salt (which costs pennies) on the unwanted grass. Salt is a corrosive that kills plants.
