-
-
3
Pour the Jiffy pizza dough mix into a mixing bowl. Add 1/2 cup hot water, and use a spoon to mix thoroughly.
-
4
Put the lid on the bowl and set the timer for five minutes, and set your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
5
Grease a baking sheet using the cooking spray. Using your hands, spread flour over the rolling pin and the cutting board.
-
6
When the timer beeps, remove the lid from the bowl of Jiffy pizza dough, and pick up the dough with your flour-covered hands.
-
7
Divide the dough into two equal portions, and roll each portion into a ball.
-
8
Set one ball on your cutting board, and roll it into a flat circle using the rolling pin.
-
9
Spread 1 tbsp. olive oil evenly onto the dough. On the bottom half of the circle, add half of the tomatoes, half of the cheese and half of the toppings you selected.
-
10
Run the faucet with warm water and put your index finger and middle finger under the running water for just a moment. Run your damp fingers along the edge of the entire dough circle, pushing any toppings that are closer than 1/2 inch to the edge toward the middle of the circle.
-
11
Fold the top half of the circle onto the bottom half to make a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges to seal in all the toppings.
-
12
Carefully pick up your calzone, and place it on the greased baking sheet.
-
13
Repeat Steps 8 through 12 with the second ball of dough.
-
14
Once the oven is preheated, put the baking sheet in the oven, and set the timer for 25 minutes. Continue cooking if the calzones are golden brown after 25 minutes.
-
15
Once they are golden brown, remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the calzones sit for ten minutes.
