How to Install a Billet Grill on an Impala

Installing a billet grill on your Chevy Impala will enhance the exterior aesthetics and will provide a cleaner feel to the front of the car. Billet grills flow more elegantly with the body lines of the Impala than the stock grill that it is equipped with. Installing a billet grill on your Impala is quick, easy and relatively cheap. Installation can be accomplished with basic tools in about 10 minutes.

Things You'll Need

• Eye protection
• Ratchet
• Sockets
• Billet grill

Instructions

1. Open the hood and prop it up.

2. Remove the bolts holding the grill to the radiator support with a ratchet. The bolts will be located directly behind the grill.

3. Remove the grill and place the new billet grill in its place.

4. Tighten the bolts with a ratchet.

5. Close the hood.

Tips & Warnings

• Be careful, when handling the stock grill, because it is very fragile and can break easily. Pull gently and evenly while removing it so that it doesn't break.

• Wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from injury.
