How to Change a Ning Homepage
If you are unhappy with how your Ning homepage looks, or with the features it currently provides, it is easy to change if you are the account administrator. Ning gives you full control over your theme colors, the order that your social networking components appear, which social networking components are available to members and even over what favicon the site displays. In addition to enabling or disabling standard features like groups, chat and forums, Ning now also has a collection of third-party applications you can highlight on your homepage.

Access Your Ning Settings

Log in to your account. Use the lost password link if you have forgotten your credentials.

Click on your name in the upper-right corner.

Click "Ning Networks" in the upper-right.

Under the network you want to change the homepage for, click "Manage."
Make Specific Homepage Changes

To change the order in which different sections (i.e. calendar, events) appear on the homepage, click the "Tab Manager" icon and make the necessary changes.

To change your theme (colors and graphics), click the "Appearance" icon. Choose a pre-made theme or design your own color scheme.

Change which features (i.e., chat, forums, video sharing) your members can access from your Ning homepage by clicking the "Features" icon. Drag and drop the features you want (or do not want) from the left-hand menu.

Add or remove third-party applications to your Ning homepage by clicking the "Ning Apps" icon. Available applications include Hulu, email digests, Ustream.tv and Wordpress integration.
