How to Tie Medium Length Hair for Men

Many men look great with longer hair. Unfortunately, the longer the hair, the more difficult the upkeep. Long hair can get into your eyes and your face, causing a distraction and discomfort. Instead of chopping off your locks because of the frustration of having your hair fall in your face, try tying it back. Tying your hair back is easy, takes two seconds and will keep your hair out of your eyes and off of your face. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Purchase some ponytail holders from any local drugstore. Most ponytail holders are designed with girls and women in mind (bright, cute colors). However, there are ponytail holders that come in blond, brown and black to blend in with your hair color. There are small, clear ponytail holders as well.

Bring your hair together with both of your hands to the very bottom of your hairline just above your neck.

    • 5

Hold your hair with your dominant hand while slipping the ponytail holder off your wrist and over your hair with your non-dominant hand.

Wrap the ponytail holder around your hair at least four times or until the hair is secure.

Tips & Warnings

  • Using a rubber band rather than a purchased ponytail holder to secure your hair can tangle and/or cause your hair to break.
