How to Use RealPlayer to Load Music on an iPod

So you're not an iTunes fan. You love RealPlayer and wish you could use it to manage your music on your iPod. Luckily for you, there is a way to do it, and it only takes a few minutes to set up.

      Update all software pertaining to the iPod. Make sure your iTunes is the most current version. Next, launch iTunes and click on your iPod. Make sure "Disk Mode" is checked. It must be enabled for RealPlayer to recognize the device.

      Unplug the iPod when the "Disc Mode" option is checked and close out of iTunes. After iTunes closes, reconnect the iPod to the computer and click out of any "Auto-play" features that pop up.

      Launch RealPlayer and navigate to the "Burn/Transfer" tab. Find the drop-down menu next to the words "Current Burner/Device" and click on it. Select your iPod from the list and you can drag music to the iPod from here. Now you can use RealPlayer instead of iTunes.
