How to Clean a Panasonic Vortex

Panasonic has created an automatic cleaning system for the Vortex razor. The cleaning unit uses soft detergents rather than harsh alcohols, for softer skin, and it heats the razor after cleaning to ensure that it is dry. After the heater is finished, a small fan operates to wick away any remaining moisture, for a drag-free shave. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

      Fill the Panasonic HydraClean Hygienic Cleaning System with water and snap the HydraClean Shaving System Solution Cartridge into the base of the cleaning unit.

    • 2

      Place the dirty Panasonic Vortex razor, razor blade end down, into the cleaning system. This will automatically start the cleaning and drying of the razor. Allow the cleaning system to complete the full cycle before removing the razor.

    • 3

      Remove the razor from the cleaning system when you are ready for your next shave.

Tips & Warnings

  • According to Panasonic, the cartridge should be changed every 30 to 40 days for the deepest clean.
