How to Play Games Using a USB Flash Drive

USB flash drives are small, portable storage devices. They can be used with any computer and any operating system, allowing you a great deal of portability. If you have a computer game you want to play on multiple computers, it is possible to install the game on the flash drive. This gives you the ability to play the computer video game directly from the USB flash drive on another computer.

Things You'll Need

• Computer
• USB flash drive
• Game installation CD

Instructions

1. Connect the USB flash drive to your computer. In a moment the computer is going to state it has detected a new removable storage device.

2. Insert the game installation CD into the computer. Wait for the installation wizard to launch.

3. Accept the license agreement and follow the prompts until you are asked for an installation location. Click "Browse" then select the USB flash drive as the installation location.

4. Follow the remaining prompts to complete the video game installation.

5. Open "My Computer" and double-click the removable flash drive icon. Click the video game icon in the window and the video game launches.
