Buy a wall guitar mount or a heavy-duty tool holder. Your local music shop probably sells wall guitar mounts, but they can be expensive. Heavy-duty tool holders have the same shape as wall guitar mounts and are less pricey. Spend according to your budget.

Choose a wall on which to display your guitar. Use a stud finder to locate a stud in the wall to support your stand. Placing a hook directly into the stud allows for durable support without using an anchor.

Install the wall mount according to the directions that come with the hook you've purchased. The hook can be level or angled upwards, depending on how you want it to look. Test the hook for stability by trying to move it around. If it is secure, the hook will remain in place. If it is not, try screwing the hook further into the wall. Place your guitar on the hook.
