How to Make a Stage for Barbie

Making a stage for Barbie is a craft project that can bring these imaginative play sessions to life and make them feel more real than ever.

- Shoe box
- White spray paint primer
- Pink paint
- Paint brushes
- Barbie stickers
- Acrylic craft spray

Spray your shoe box with white primer. Most primers are sufficient for making a glossy shoebox easy to paint with normal craft paints. Make sure to spray paint in a well-ventilated area, with adult supervision. Allow the paint to dry.

Paint the shoe box pink, ensuring that it is evenly coated. For best results, apply the top coat, wait for it to dry and apply a second coat to make sure that the color is thick enough to hide the primer.

Apply Barbie stickers along the base of the shoe box to give the stage a distinctly Barbie feel. Any stickers that actually say "Barbie" may be placed center stage.

Spray the stage with acrylic craft spray. A second coat of acrylic spray should be applied after the first coat dries. Once the second coat dries, Barbie's stage is ready for use.
