How to Make Stickers on Your PC
Most larger warehouse and craft stores offer a wide variety of stickers for sale, but sometimes homemade stickers are better. Whether you are looking to save money by making your own stickers or you just want something unique, making your own stickers using your PC and a printer couldn't be easier. Finished stickers can be used decoratively, as toys for the kids, or even as a way to advertise a business or service.

1
Choose an image to use on your stickers. You might scan photographs or drawings onto your computer using your scanner. Otherwise, any public-use images on your computer or found on the Internet can be used for stickers.
-
2
Re-size the images using a photo editing software on your computer. Smaller stickers might need an image that is less than an inch long and wide, while oversize stickers can be as large as an 8-1/2 by 11-inch piece of computer sticker paper.

3
Load your printer with printer paper and ensure that it is on and plugged in. The paper should be loaded so that the printable side will face up during printing. Refer to your printer's user manual if you have questions about paper placement for your specific model.
-
4
Print your images onto the sticker paper that is loaded into your printer. Remove each sheet from the printer as it prints, handling it carefully and setting it aside to dry completely.
-
5
Remove the protective backing from your clear contact paper and layer it on top of your printed stickers. The contact paper will stick to your printed sticker sheets and make them water repellent and more durable.
-
6
Cut your stickers out from the sticker paper using sharp scissors. When you are ready to use the stickers, simply remove the protective backing and stick them to the surface where you want them displayed.
