How to Take a Battery Out of a Verizon Krave

The first time you disassemble a new phone, you might fear breaking or scratching it. But whether you are installing a new battery, forcing a reset, or getting model and serial numbers, removing the batteries on all cell phones is the same, and it takes only a few moments and some concentration.

Things You'll Need

• Motorola Krave cell phone

Instructions

1. Flip the cell phone so the back is facing you. You will notice there is a removable cover on the back.

2. From the top of the back cover gently push and slide the cover downward, away from the phone. This will reveal the battery inside.

3. Gently, from the top of the battery, using the tips of your fingers, pop the top of the battery out. You can now safely lift the battery from the phone.

Tips & Warnings

• Always use the Motorola brand battery with a Motorola phone. The Motorola battery will have a Motorola symbol hologram sticker on it.

• Follow your local battery disposal regulations. Do not throw an old battery away in the regular trash.

• If you attempt to use a non-Motorola phone you may risk fire or leakage.
