How to Fix a Clogged Spray Bottle

Things You'll Need
- Spray bottle
- Shallow dish
- White vinegar
- Water
- Toothpick
- Dry cloth
- Compressed air

Remove the entire spray mechanism from the spray bottle.

Add equal parts of white vinegar and cool water to the shallow dish.

Place the spray mechanism into the shallow dish so it is beneath the vinegar and water mixture.

Leave the spray mechanism soaking in the vinegar and water for approximately ten minutes.

Remove the spray mechanism and rinse it under hot water.

Dry the spray mechanism and place it back into the spray bottle. Spray the spray bottle to see if it is unclogged. If it still will not work, proceed to the next step.

Remove the spray nozzle from the spray mechanism by twisting it until it comes off.

Run the spray nozzle under hot water and insert the tip of a toothpick into the center of the nozzle to loosen any hardened materials that may be blocking the nozzle. Rinse the nozzle again with hot water and dry with a cloth.

Insert the tip of the compressed air into the center of the spray nozzle to loosen any hardened materials that may remain.

Replace the spray nozzle back onto the spray mechanism and spray the spray bottle to ensure it works.
