How to Insert Movie Clips Into Powerpoint
Microsoft PowerPoint, distributed as part of the Microsoft Office suite, is a leading software for making presentations. The program has an option to insert a movie clip into a slide to be played during the presentation. PowerPoint recognizes multiple movie formats, particularly the popular AVI and MPEG video formats.

Click on the "PowerPoint" icon on the Desktop in Windows XP/Vista or 7 to start the program. Alternatively, click the "Start" button, choose "All Programs," open "Microsoft Office" folder and click on "PowerPoint."

Press "Ctrl" +"O" to open a PowerPoint presentation file.

Choose a slide where you need to insert a movie clip.

Select the menu "Insert" and click on "Movie" under "Media Clips."

Browse to the folder that contains a movie clip file. Then double-click on the file to insert into your PowerPoint presentation.
