How to Size Shearling Slippers
Shearling or sheepskin slippers are renowned for their soft, cozy, durable comfort. Shoe and slipper size depends very much on personal preference--do you like your footwear roomy or a little snug? Because of that, and variance in sizes between manufacturers, your best bet is usually ordering in your sneaker size. However, keep in mind that because they're made of natural materials, you can expect your shearling footwear to stretch by up to about half a size during the course of normal use. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Take your shoes and socks off. Place a piece of unlined paper on a firm, level surface.
-
2
Center one foot on the paper and trace all the way around it with a pencil or pen, outlining the shape of your foot as exactly as possible.
-
-
3
Repeat the tracing process with a new sheet of paper for the other foot.
-
4
Measure from heel to toe on both tracings with a ruler or measuring tape. Don't be surprised if the measurements come out just a little different--many people have one foot that is slightly larger than the other.

Consult the sizing chart linked to in Resources to find the appropriate slipper/shoe size to order. If your feet are slightly different in size, you'll want to order slippers to fit the larger foot; if your feet are significantly different sizes, you may need to order two pairs of slippers, or inquire whether the seller can sell you one pair of two different sizes.
