How to Fade a Picture From Color to Black & White for Powerpoint

PowerPoint 2007 contains enhanced features and options to enable users to create exciting presentations within the program, rather than inserting converted clips and effects. One of the features Smart Computing Magazine featured in September 2009 involved the extended options in formatting pictures. Pictures can be re-colored as objects on the slide using the "Format Picture" option. When pictures formatted to produce a special effect are combined with the Custom Animation option, presentations can display pictures that seem to transform from color to black and white.
