How to Zoom in Windows Vista

Windows Vista has many features such as more flexible zooming. Use the zoom feature to zoom in to read text more clearly. If the text is too large, zoom out to shrink it and get more screen real estate. The zoom feature can be used in any program and on the Internet.

  • Zoom using your mouse. Hold on to the "Ctrl" key and scroll down with your mouse to zoom out and scroll up with your mouse to zoom in.

  • Zoom with your keyboard. To zoom in with only your keyboard, press the "Ctrl" key and press the "+" (plus) key to zoom in and the "-" (minus) key to zoom out.

  • Zoom with your browser. Select "View" and "Zoom" and choose "Zoom in" or "Zoom out."
