How to Get the Music Notes in a Computer Keyboard
If you need to display special symbols such as musical notes in your text, you can do so by pressing a specific combination of numbers on your keyboard. These combinations are often called "Alt codes" because they require you to hold down "Alt" while keying in the numeric code required to display the symbol.

Press and hold the "Alt" key.

Press "1" and "4" on the numeric keypad. The row of numbers located at the top of the keyboard will not work.

Release the "Alt" key and the music note will be displayed.

Tips & Warnings
If you're using a laptop that doesn't have a separate number pad, you may need to also press and hold the "FN" or "Function" key to access the number pad feature on your keyboard.
