How to Set Up an iPod to a New Computer After It Has Been Synced to Another One

The first time that you plug an iPod into a computer and sync the device with iTunes, the iPod and that computer will be linked. If you attempt to sync the iPod with a version of the iTunes software located on a different computer, all of the content on that iPod will automatically be deleted. To avoid this from occurring, you will need to change the settings on your iPod by syncing it with its "home computer."
