How to Delete All Call Logs in Blackberry Curve

The Blackberry Curve can serve as a mobile workstation, allowing you to make and receive phone calls, send and read email, set appointments and store your contacts on one small device. Because the Blackberry Curve is capable of doing so much, many users delete extraneous data to free up memory space. One way to do that is to delete your old call logs, either entirely or from a specific date. You don't need to connect to your Blackberry Desktop Manager to delete call logs---you can delete them directly from your Blackberry Curve.

Instructions

    • 1

Scroll to the "Messages" icon on your Blackberry home screen using the trackball and double-click to open your messages.

    • 2

Press the "Menu" button to the left of the trackball. Select "View Folder," and then select "Phone Call Logs."

    • 3

Use the Blackberry Curve trackball to highlight the date that you want all previous messages deleted from. To delete all messages, highlight today's date.

    • 4

Press the menu key, and select "Delete prior."

Tips & Warnings

  • Once you delete call logs from your Blackberry Curve, they can only be restored if you backed them up to your computer using the Blackberry Desktop Manager.
