How to Delete Songs From a RCA MP3

The capacity of your RCA MP3 player will determine how many songs you can have on the device at one time. Removing songs from an RCA MP3 player can free up memory space on the device, allowing you to add different audio files onto the player. In order to delete songs from the RCA MP3 player, sync the device with a free audio software program.

Instructions

1. Connect the RCA MP3 player to a usable USB port on the computer.

2. Open Windows Media Player.

3. Select "Sync" at the top of the program. The name of the RCA MP3 player will appear in the left column in Windows Media Player.

4. Highlight "Songs" underneath the name of the RCA MP3 player. All of the songs on that device will be listed.

5. Choose every song on the RCA MP3 player you want to delete.

6. Press "Delete" on the keyboard. A window will open.

7. Click "OK" in that window, and the song(s) will be deleted from the RCA MP3 player.
