How to Arrange Hand Towels
The bathroom is often one of the most neglected rooms in the home in terms of decorating. But in spite of the utilitarian nature of most bathrooms, this room deserves the same care and consideration as other rooms in your home. One of the simplest ways to spruce up your bathroom is through the decorative use of bath and hand towels. Choose two to three different colors for your hand towels. Fold them in half lengthwise, and roll them up tightly. Stack various rolled colored towels in a small basket for display on a countertop or in a larger basket that rests on the floor.

Roll several hand towels as in Step 1, and tie them in the middle with a coordinating ribbon or piece of fabric. Stack them on the countertop to create a pyramid-type effect. You can also place rolled towels in an open cupboard or open shelving for a decorative display.

Knot a couple of hand towels in the middle to create a bowlike effect. Place several hand towels with this treatment on a shelf in the bathroom to add color and texture.

Fold hand towels in simple squares, and place them in a pretty piece of pottery or large ceramic bowl for ease of use.
