How to Uninstall Spybot Search & Destroy
Spybot Search & Destroy scans a computer's hard drive and RAM for malicious software and then removes it. Although Spybot Search & Destroy is not intended to be used as an antivirus program it can detect and delete common Trojan viruses. Its main use is to find tracker software and keyloggers, and it also can repair parts of the registry and the cookies on a computer. The uninstall process is very simple, allowing the user a simple reinstall when upgrading.

Click on the "Start" button on your taskbar. Select the "Control Panel" option.

Click the "Uninstall a Program" link in the "Programs" section.

Scroll through the list and find the Spybot Search & Destroy program. Click on the program. On the upper bar either an "Uninstall" or "Uninstall/Change" button will appear.

Click the "Uninstall" or "Uninstall/Change" button.

Click the "Yes" button when prompted if you want to uninstall Spybot Search & Destroy.

Save any unsaved documents you may have open, and close all open applications. Click the "Yes" button if prompted to restart your computer.
