Things You'll Need
- Ammonia
- Bleach-free detergent
- Spray bottle
- Clean cloth
- 3 percent hydrogen peroxide
- White vinegar

Mix two parts ammonia with one part bleach-free detergent in a spray bottle and shake it gently to mix it.

Lay shirt on a flat surface so the collar is easily accessible.

Spray the collar with the solution to saturate it.

Use a clean cloth to work the solution into the stain.

Allow the area to soak for at least five minutes before laundering it as usual with a bleach-free detergent.

Remove the shirt from the washing machine and visually inspect it for signs of the stain. If the stain is gone, you are safe to put it into the dryer; if not, lay it out on a flat surface again to work on it more.
