How to Silent Run in Counter Strike
"Counter-Strike" is one of the most popular online multiplayer games ever. Over the years, many players have attempted to give themselves an edge--a little extra something that might help them get the drop on other players. Some of these players came up with a concept known as "silent running," a form of running that can barely be heard. While disallowed in some circles, this move is somewhat simple to execute and does not take much practice to master.

Tips & Warnings
While this is known as silent running, it is not completely silent. Other players will still be able to hear your footsteps--but they will just hear far fewer of them.
This maneuver is frowned upon in many online circles. If you are caught doing the move when it is not allowed, you could be banned from certain servers.
