How to Close Multiple Windows in IE7

Instructions

1. Open Internet Explorer 7 by clicking on the program's icon on your computer's "Desktop" or by selecting Internet Explorer 7 from the "All Programs" menu, if using a Windows system or from the "Finder" if using a Mac system.

2. Open a website that contains multiple windows.

3. Press the "CTRL" and "W" keys simultaneously to close the multiple windows, if using a Windows-based system.

4. Press the "Apple" and "Q" keys simultaneously to close the multiple windows, if using a Mac system. Press the key combination rapidly to close all open IE7 windows and the entire application.

5. Press the "CTRL" and "W" key combination rapidly to close all open IE7 windows and the entire application, if using a Windows-based system.

Tips & Warnings

• Pressing "ALT" and the "F4" function key will also close multiple IE7 windows as well as other applications on your computer, if using a Windows-based system.
