How to Exit Internet Explorer Full-Screen Mode in Windows Mobile 6.0

Windows Mobile is a popular mobile platform for smarthphones. With companies such as HTC, Motorola, and Samsung all developing phones for the platform, it certainly has popularity. However, because of its many intricacies, some of the basic functions are not that intuitive. Even something as simple as exiting full-screen mode in Internet Explorer can seem like a chore. However, the process is relatively straightforward.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the soft key on the side of your phone and then select the "Menu" button by scrolling down. If you have a touch-enabled phone, you can simply press the "Menu" button on the touchscreen.

    • 2

Select "View" from the list of options in the menu screen. You will see another menu pop up with a list of options.

    • 3

Select "Full Screen" from the "View" options. Although you are already in full-screen mode, this will shrink the Internet Explorer window to standard size.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have a device that uses a newer version of Windows Mobile (such as 6.5), the process is the same.
