How to Text With Skype

Tips & Warnings
Texting with Skype requires Skype credits, which you can load with a $10 minimum and is not included in any of the subscriptions Skype offers. The cost of the text depends on where in the world the destination phone is originally serviced out of. It is cheaper to send a text to a phone in the United States and Canada than it is Mexico or Europe.
If you don't have any Skype credits, texting will not work with Skype. Double-check the number you are attempting to send a text to. There are no refunds for sending a text to the wrong number no matter where in the world the mistaken phone number may be.
