Flowers are one of mother natures beauty's. If you happen to find a flower you like, but don't know the name of it, it can be quite frustrating to just walk away from the flower never knowing the name in case you want to plant it or buy it in the future. Not knowing your type of flower is fairly common. Identifying a flower will take some research, but with the proper methods you can identify any flower. Does this Spark an idea?

Pick the flower you don't know the name of. Pick the complete flower from the ground at the end of the stem flush to the ground

Take the flower immediately inside. Go to the flower identification website provided under the additional references.

Select the correct number of petals your flower has on the website. Then select every category thereafter in the list to help decipher the type of flower you have.

Click on the photos provided in the flower search with your specific categories. Compare your flower with the images to make sure it is the correct name.

Tips & Warnings
If you can't find the type of flower from the flower identification website, first compare the flower to every flower image listed under 'flowers" in an encyclopedia. Then if you can't identify the flower yet, take the flower to your local florists to have them identify your flower type.
