How to Burn an Audio Book Download
You can take that audio book download you enjoy so much on your computer and burn it to a CD. But do it only with the provision you listen to it for your own use, since you should know it's already a risky endeavor burning copyrighted material. Know also that if you already own the copyright to an audio book, you can burn it to a CD and sell it for profit. Here's how to burn an audio book download to a CD using a Windows Media Player.

Call up Windows Media Player if you already have it on your computer. Download the latest version if you've never used it before or haven't updated your current one.

Make sure your computer has a CD drive on it that's capable of burning a CD.

Choose to play your downloaded audio book through Windows Media Player, though make sure you play it in Full Mode in order to have options onscreen for CD burning.

Look up to the top of the screen on Windows Media Player and find the "Burn" icon. Insert a blank CD into your computer's CD drive before making any CD burning selections.

Click on the "Burn" option under this icon and Windows Media Player will automatically burn your audio book to the CD.

Select options under the "Burn" icon to let your CD drive open automatically after the media player burns the CD so you'll know when it's done.

Watch for an alert from Windows Media Player when your CD is full while dubbing overly long audio books. Insert another blank CD into the drive and the media player will pick up where you left off.

Tips & Warnings
Windows Media Player formats your CDs so that you can play them on any other CD player. This means being able to play your audio book download in your car's CD player.
Be aware that some audio books have copyright protection on them that prevent you from burning them to a CD. If this happens, accept it and find other audio books that do allow you to burn to a CD for private use.
