Instructions

    • 1

Turn off the hot and cold water under the sink. Look for the shut-off valves for these supply lines and twist them to the right to shut off water to the existing faucet. Test the faucet to make sure the supply is off. If there are no shut-off valves below your sink, turn off the main water supply where it enters your home.

    • 2

Place a pan or bucket below the faucet to catch water that may be trapped inside. Use a basin wrench to disconnect the supply lines between the existing faucet and the shut-off valves. Twist the hex nuts to the left to loosen them and disconnect the lines from the faucet.

    • 3

Remove the old faucet and slide your GROHE faucet into the hole in the top of your sink. If any supply lines are attached, feed them through the hole first so they fall below the sink. From under the sink, screw the new faucet in place using the fasteners provided by GROHE.

Connect the water supply lines to your new faucet. Pay attention to where the hot and cold supply lines are placed so that you will end up with each of these lines on the desired side (cold on the right, for example). Use an adjustable wrench to tighten the compression nuts at the end of each supply line to connect them to the faucet.

Twist the aerator off the end of your faucet by hand. If it is on too tightly, use an adjustable wrench to loosen it. Turn the water supply back on under the sink and turn on the faucet so water will flow through it. Allow the water to run for two minutes to flush out any debris, then turn off the faucet.

Twist the aerator back on to the end of the faucet to complete the project.
