How to Replace Ceramic Soap Dish
When a ceramic soap dish breaks or needs replacement, the repair can be done easily if the wall area is prepared properly and the right materials are used. Cut two pieces of duct tape which stretch from the place on the wall reserved for the ceramic soap dish to the edge of the tiling near the ceiling, with six additional inches. Tape these pieces above the space for the soap dish where the tiling meets the ceiling. Let them hang down loosely.

Wipe the part of the ceramic soap dish that will adhere to the wall with a clean damp rag. Wipe down the place on the bathroom wall where the soap dish will rest. Make sure that the wall space doesn't have any tiling in the space reserved for the ceramic soap dish.

Spread ceramic glue onto the edge of the ceramic soap dish where it will adhere to the wall.

Press the ceramic soap dish firmly against the wall. Hold it for several minutes while the glue sets. Use the rag to wipe up any ceramic glue that seeped out around the edges.

Bring the tape down so that it encompasses the ceramic soap dish from below and presses it against the wall. Leave the tape there for two days to ensure that the ceramic soap dish firmly adheres to the wall.
