How to Clean Murano Glass

Murano glass, even saying the name hints at elegance. Whether you have stemware or perfume bottles, beads or vases, know that each piece is a work of art.   • Sink
  • Warm water
  • Mild dishwashing liquid
  • Soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge
  • Soft towel

      Fill sink with warm water and some mild dishwashing liquid.

      Wash one piece of Murano glass at a time. Carefully place it in the sudsy water and using your soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, wash the entire piece.

      Rinse the Murano glass piece thoroughly with warm water and dry completely with a soft towel.

Tips & Warnings

  • Covering the bottom of your sink with a towel will lessen the risk of chipping your piece.

  • Jewelry should be stored in a jewelry box to lessen exposure to harmful elements.

  • Do not use chemical jewelry cleaners on your pieces due to the components used in making jewelry.
