How to Determine a 32 or 64 Bit System
Windows operating systems are usually either 32-bit or 64-bit. The bit-count determines how much data your computer can process, the speed at which it can process this data and the memory capacity. It is important to know what your computers bit-count is so that you install programs, drivers and applications that are compatible with it. Also you should be aware that 32-bit systems can only use up to 4GB of RAM. Whether you are using Windows Vista, 7 or XP, you can find out what your bit count is easily.
