How to Play a Mini DVD-RAM on the Computer
Mini DVD-RAM discs--essentially small DVDs--are often used with video cameras that record using the DVD format. The Nintendo GameCube also uses Mini-DVDs as its software format. Although some DVD players are not capable of playing the DVD-RAM and won't be able to play Nintendo GameCube Mini-DVDs, computers should play the Mini DVD-RAM discs with no problem.

1
Open the DVD drive on your computer. There is a small tray inside the larger area where a standard DVD is inserted. This is made especially for mini discs, such as the Mini DVD-RAM.
-
2
Insert the Mini DVD-RAM disc into the computer and close the DVD drive. In a moment the computer will begin reading the disc.
-
3
Wait for any software to load and begin playing the DVD-RAM disc. You can do this by using Windows Media Player or a different software you have installed on your computer.
-
4
Open "My Computer" (or "Computer") if no software opens. Double-click the Mini DVD-RAM icon to open a new window and display all of the contents on the mini disc.
-
5
Double-click one of the files on the DVD-RAM. It is now going to launch Windows Media Player or some other software and begin playing the contents of the disc on your computer.
