How to Make a Toilet Flush Using a Plunger

• Plunger, also called a plumber's helper

Instructions

1. Place your plunger in the toilet bowl, covering the opening to the toilet's inner waterway.

2. Make sure that the edge of the plunger is covered in water. If there is not enough water in the toilet to cover the edge of the plunger, pour more water into the bowl.

3. Grasp the handle firmly and push down on the plunger to force air into the pipes. Repeat this motion until the blockage is cleared.
