How to Compress WAV Files to Fit on CD
Wave (WAV) format files store waveform data. Compared to other audio file types, WAV files tend to be quite large. Users may wish to compress WAV files by converting them to another file type to burn to CD. Converting WAV files to MP3 will compress the size of the WAV files by a significant percentage. To convert WAV files to MP3 files, a free Internet utility is available called Media-Convert. With Media-Convert, WAV files may be quickly converted into MP3 files with just a few simple steps.
