How to Purchase Duct Cleaning Equipment

Duct cleaning equipment has two main types of systems. Rotary brush systems incorporate a spinning brush that dusts the insides of the duct clean. They are smaller and less effective on large industrial or corporate systems, but work great for smaller residential and business systems. The second type of duct cleaning equipment commonly used is negative air vacuum systems. These systems usually attach to the duct through a hole or access panel, and suck huge amounts of air out of the system, vacuuming the dust and particles from the duct. Bladders are often placed over the vents to cause a vacuum to build in the duct helping remove debris. Both systems can be used in conjunction to get the best results possible. When purchasing duct cleaning equipment make sure to select the product based on how it will be used.
