Instructions

    • 1

Take your BlackBerry Pearl and tools to a dry, well-lit workspace with a level surface. Turn the phone over and remove the battery door. Then remove the battery from the phone.

    • 2

Use the prying tool to separate the bottom cover from your BlackBerry. Be careful, because this piece can be easily broken. After removing the bottom cover, you will see four screws in the phone casing. Unscrew all four and set them aside in a safe place for when you reassemble the phone.

    • 3

Remove the side covers on the phone casing. Each side cover has two clips that hold it to the phone casing. Use the prying tool to gently separate the side covers so you can take them off.

    • 4

Remove the faceplate by prying it off. Release the clip on each side of the BlackBerry Pearl faceplate.

Tips & Warnings

  • Opening your BlackBerry phone case will probably void any warranties on it. Check with your mobile service provider before attempting to open your BlackBerry Pearl.
