How to Make Chocolate Spa Products
Creating chocolate spa products to use is wonderful for all skin types. Chocolate contains antioxidants and caffeine that circulates and maintains skin elasticity. Dark chocolate is the healthiest form of chocolate because it contains the highest amount of cocoa, at least 35 percent. Dark chocolate has the highest amount of antioxidants and lowest amount of saturated fats, compared to other forms of chocolate. Things You'll Need
- Blender
- 2 cans pure dark chocolate cocoa powder
- Olive oil
- Coffee beans
- Coconut oil
- Honey
- Oatmeal
- Chamomile oil
- Shea butter
Instructions

Chocolate Coconut Foot and Body Scrub

Grind 2 cups of coffee beans in a blender for one minute. Pour ground coffee beans into a medium bowl.

Melt 3/4 cup of coconut oil in a bowl with lid and run under hot water. Run water for two minutes or until oil is melted.

Pour 3/4 cup of melted coconut oil and 1 1/2 cup of olive oil in bowl with coffee beans.

Mix mixture with spatula or wooden spoon. Continue to stir mixture for one minute or until thoroughly mixed.

Apply scrub to feet or body in a circular massaging motion. Pay extra attention to the heels and toes to remove dead skin.
Chocolate and Honey Oats Face Mask

Grind 1/2 cup of oatmeal in blender. Grind for three minutes or until oatmeal is has a powdery consistency.

Combine ground oatmeal, 1/2 cup of honey and 1/4 cup of cocoa powder in a small bowl. Stir all ingredients together until a thick paste forms.

Warm paste in microwave for 30 seconds. Microwave on high heat.

Spread on entire face and neck in a circular motion. Be careful not to apply paste in the eye area.

Let paste sit on face until it dries for 10 minutes. After the mask has dried, let sit for an additional 20 minutes. Rinse mixture with warm water.
Chocolate Massage

Combine 1/4 cup of cocoa powder, 1 cup of shea butter, and 1/4 cup of chamomile oil in blender.

Mix until for 2 minutes, until well-blended. If needed, soften shea buttter at room temperature until it reaches a soft butter texture. Melting the shea butter will vary, depending on the temperature inside of your home.

Pour mixture in a small bowl. Massage into skin for a refreshing whole body massage. You can also use this as an after-shower moisturizer for everyday use.

Buy jars and pour the spa products in jars for later use or as gifts. Keep all products in the refrigerator for freshness and for optimum performance.
