How to Remove Cookies From Safari on a Mac
Cookies are small files that websites use to retain information that you enter for future use. Cookies are placed on your computer, and when you return to a website, the cookie helps the website "remember" information about your past visits. Enabling cookies on your computer can keep you from having to reenter certain information, such as email addresses, user names or site preferences every time you visit a website. Cookies cannot get information from your computer or harm your files; they only remember the information you have entered on the web, according to the Better Business Bureau. If you do decide to remove cookies for privacy or other reasons, you can quickly do so using Safari on your Mac.
