How to Make My BlackBerry Ringtones Play More Loudly
Personalizing your BlackBerry phone is as easy changing the ring tone. Most BlackBerrys come with a nice selection of preloaded ring tones, but you can also add more personalized ones. However, it doesn't do you any good if you can't hear it when the ring tone actually goes off. The simplest way to make your BlackBerry device ring more loudly is to adjust the settings in the "Profile" menu.

Press the menu key to move from the main menu to the applications page, where you will find the profiles icon. (It looks like a speaker on most BlackBerry devices.) Click the profiles icon using the trackball.

Scroll down the popup screen and click "Advanced" at the bottom of the menu. Using the trackball, highlight the profile that you want to change. (If you want to change your current profile, highlight the profile that has "active" next to its name.)

Press the menu button to open the side menu. Click "Edit."

Scroll down the list and click "Phone." On the next screen, change the volume to "High." Don't forget to change the volume field in both the holster options. Press the menu button and then click "Save."
