How to Burn a PowerPoint File With Nero
A slide show created using PowerPoint software can easily be stored in a recordable/rewritable disc using the popular Windows-based burning software Nero. To "burn" is to write a file into a disc or DVD, usually for backup purposes.
Instructions
-
-
1
Insert the disc into your computer's appropriate drive.
-
2
Start Nero software.
-
-
3
On the top right-hand corner of the project selection page, click the appropriate disc type. If you are going to burn the file on a blank DVD, click the "DVD" button. If it will be on a CD, select the "CD" button.
-
4
Click "Data>Make Data Disc" on the main menu. A new window will load that will enable you to add the file to be burned.
-
5
Click "Add" on the right of the "Disc Content" window. An open dialog box will pop up to let you browse the file you want to burn.
-
6
Locate the folder or directory where the PowerPoint file is stored. Click Add on the dialog box to add the file. Click "Finished" when done. You will be redirected to the previous window. Notice that the file you added is already displayed and will show the file size. If the file is too big for the disc maximum capacity, a red line will show.
-
7
Click "Next" to continue.
-
8
Configure the final burn settings. You have the option to write a name for your disc, configure the writing speed, set the number of copies you want to make, set the disc as a multisession one or verify the data on disc after burning. If you don't want to do any of these, just leave them as it is and click "Burn" to start burning your disc. While burning, a status window of the recording process will be displayed. As soon as it is complete, you will be notified through a message box that the burn process has completed successfully.
-
9
Click "OK" to go back to the recording window. Click "Next" to move forward to the next windows or "Exit" to close.
-
10
Open the PowerPoint file in the disc to check if it works.
