How to Delete a Posted Note on an MSN Hotmail Account

MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messenger give you the ability to post a note that is displayed next to your name when others see it on their contact lists. You may find after logging into a Hotmail account later; however, that the message is still displayed and that it is no longer correct. You can use your Hotmail account to change the note on your MSN or Windows Live account when you do not have access to the IM program itself.

Instructions

    • 1

Log in to your Hotmail account and click the "Profile" link at the top of the window.

    • 2

Click the "Details" link on the left side of the screen.

    • 3

Scroll down to "Personal Message" and click "Edit."

    • 4
