How to Use an XP Schedule Without a Password
Windows XP task scheduler allows you to schedule tasks to be run later. You can schedule memory-consuming applications such as disk defragmenter and anti-virus programs to be run later when the computer is idle. You can also schedule them to be run at regular intervals of time like daily or once in a week or month.

Go to "Start," point to "All Programs," point to "Accessories," point to "System Tools," and then click on "Scheduled Tasks."

Double-click on the "Add Scheduled Task" icon.

Click to select the program that you want to schedule from the displayed list and then click on "Next." If the program is not there in the list, click on the "Browse" button and then double-click on a program to select it.

Type a name for this task in the text box shown.

Click to select when all you want this task to be performed below "Perform this task" and then click on "Next."

Click to select the time and date when you want this task to be performed and then click on "Next."

Enter your user name in the "Enter the user name" text box. Leave the password fields blank and then click on "Next."

Click on the "Finish" button.

Tips & Warnings
Avoid scheduling too many programs to be run at the same time, as it may slow down your system.
