Wipe the DVD player screen with a microfiber cloth, dusting lightly over the screen. This will collect and remove any loose residue, along with most smudges and fingerprints.

Spray a mist of screen cleaning fluid onto one side of the cloth, then wipe over the screen once more. Continue wiping gently, applying a bit of extra pressure to smudges and fingerprints.

Repeat until the entire screen is clean, then wipe once more with the dry side of the microfiber cloth.

Screen cleaner is available at any electronics store, and is also included in the package when purchasing a new Sony portable DVD player. Purchasing a screen cleaning kit will allow you to purchase the cleaner and microfiber cleaning cloth in one package.
Do not spray the cleaner directly onto the DVD player screen, as the fluid can quickly drip into cracks of the player, causing damage to electrical components.
